Above the coastal town of Diano Marina in the San Pietro Valley lies Casa Collina in the quaint little village of Moltedo. There is a small grocery store in the town for daily needs, in addtion to a fine restaurant “La Campagnola”. Here you can indulge yourself with wild game, cooked according with local traditions. In the house, which sits on a gentle slope, you will find a penthouse apartment. The simple yet practically furnished apartment, comprising bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living area with extra sleeping options, has ample room to accommodate four persons. For socialising and relaxing you will find a glass enclosed loggia and a conveniently large terrace, from where there is an outstanding view of the bay of Diano Marina, and of the panoramic San Pietro Valley.

This municipality is formed of two towns on the sunny slopes of the San Pietro Valley. Dominating the lower town is the parish church, one of the most important in the area (the christening font dates from the eleventh century). All that is left of the original late mediaeval building is the bell tower. It is dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul and was reconstructed in Baroque style in the second half of the eighteenth century. The parvis is paved with pebbles and it was surrounded by a wall in 1564 as a defence against Saracen invasions. The interior preserves a painting of the martyrdom of San Giovanni Battista attributed to Giovanni Battista Paggi and a fine seventeenth-century marble pulpit.
Along the road to Diano San Pietro there are two buildings that were once used for control and defence of the valley: the square "Camandone" barracks building and the "Molino Arduino", a fortified mill.







Just outside the town, when you have crossed the bridge over the Rio San Pietro, you will come to the district of Colla, where you can admire the recently-restored sanctuary of the Madonna della Neve. In the church of the Nativitŕ di Maria in Borganzo, you can see a fine poliptych by Antonio Brea: the Madonna della Consolazione (1518). There is a very old humpback bridge over the San Pietro at Roncagli. At one time, the valley was full of mills producing Taggia olive oil. Besides olive-oil production, the local economy is based on the cultivation of vegetables, fruit and basil, which is the main ingredient of the typical local liqueur. Among the many local summer festivals, the most famous is the one dedicated to a pasta dish called "trenette al pesto", which is accompanied by a classic Ligurian wine called Pigato.

Tip: Strand in Cervo, freier Strand, kleiner Parkplatz vorhanen, Zufahrt kurz vor Campingplatz, ganz scharfe li Kurve nehmen, von San Bartolomeo kommend. Restaurant in Roncagli. Grotte bei Toirano, Pub in Moltedo, sehr gut - waterwheels, San Remo shoppen, Cote d azur Tagesausflug sehr schöne Region, Wetter prima, nicht so heiß, Essen lecker. Freie Strände vorhanden. Falsche Info auf der Surfschulseite, Diano Marina, Club de mare. Surfkurs kostet für alle: 230 ? - 7 Std.

Nun ja, eigentlich glich es der Villa Kunterbunt. Als ob jeder Mieter dieses Objekts mal was zur Austattung beisteuert und dort lässt. Uns hat es nicht gestört.Es gab alles was man brauchte. Der freie Strand von Andora ist sehr zu empfehlen.Sandig und breiter als die Bucht von Diano Marina.Die Kirche in Cervo und auf jeden Fall ein Tagesausflug nach Monaco! Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Das Restaurant Waterweel ist fantastisch. Nur wenige Minuten von Moltedo entfernt, sehr gastfreundlich, wunderschönes Ambiente und in kürzester Zeit steht das Essen auf dem Tisch, so was hab ich noch nie erlebt. Sehr kinderfreundlich. Jedes Dorf und jede Stadt in der Umgebung sind sehenswert. Guter Supermercato Punto in Diano Marina direkt an der Strasse wo man nach Diano Sanpietro geht. Baden in Diano Marina haben wir die Badeanstalt Kursaal Viale Torino Nr. 9 gewählt, super nett, super sauber guter Preis und gute Verpflegungsmöglichkeit. Diano Castello hat einen köstlichen kleinen Laden von Nicola Novaro mit feinem Olivenöl und gutem Weisswein, alle Produkte aus eigenem Anbau und Produktion. Wenn ich das nächste Jahr wieder bei Ihnen eine Ferienwohnung buche, werde ich mich mehr über die Wohnung bei Ihnen informieren. Wir haben es in dieser Region sehr genossen, haben tolle 14 Tage erlebt bei fantastischem Wetter, tollen gastfreundlichen Menschen und auch die ganze Abwicklung und Komunikation mit Ihnen hat bestens funktioniert. Herzlichen Dank an Ihr ganzes Team.

Tips: Pietro Castello, sehr schön und hat ein gutes Restaurant (direkt am Eingang der Altstadt); Alassio, sehr schön zum Bummeln am Abend. Pizzeria 'Windmill' - hat super Pizzen.

sehr gut war das Essen in Diano Evangile, ebenso in Borganzo, sehr schön ist Menton als Ausflugsziel und wer Felsstrand mag Cervo ! ... machen Sie weiter so, mit sehr gutem Service gewinnt man Kunden !

Die Ausstattung der Terrasse war vollkommen ausreichend. Der Strand in Imperia ist sehr empfehlenswert. Ebenso sollte man die 1 Stunde Fahrt antreten und Monaco sehen. Bei Nachbarn kann man sehr gutes Olivenöl erwerben. Ein Sprachführer sollte im Gepäck sein, da die Einheimischen weder Deutsch noch Englisch verstehen und man ohne Sprachführer einige - manchmal sehr lustige - Hürden überwinden muss.

Un micro-ondes peut etre!! La rue piétonne de Diano Marina : un vrai plaisir pour manger avec les enfants tout en les laissant gambader!! Et les prix : rien ŕ voir avec la côte d'Azur avec en plus la gentillesse des commerçants! De trčs bonnes vacances, merci!!!!

Der Raum mit den Betten wirkt mit den grossen Dreh-Tischen (Spieltischen, wohl eine alte Spielhölle diese Wohnung) ein wenig überladen beengt.

Es war alles passsend Vielleicht noch eien aufklappbaren Liegestuhl, zum "richtig Hinlegen" Wir sind Vegetarier- fanden im Ort einen gute Pizzeria, wunderschön gelegen. Im nächsten Ort, Richtung Norden gab es auch ein gutes Lokal, bei der Durchfahrt gar nicht als so gut zu erkennen, und zu Fuß erreichbar)und ein paar Kilometer weiter in die gleiche Richtung ebenfalls noch ein schönes. Am Ort sonst noch eines mit nur Fleichgerichten (Wild) war halt nciht unsereres. Wir durften im letzten Moment die Wohnung tauschen. - Nochmals Danke dafür. Der erstgewählte Ort (Valledoria) hat uns bei einem Besuch bestens gefallen, ein super Ausflugstipp), für uns war aber die letztendliche Wahl die bessere, da wir gerne Essen gehen und dazu Wein trinken wollen, was da eher möglich war. Badeurlaub war es für uns weniger (dafür war uns der Strand zu voll belegt), aber wir haben die Ruhe genossen, viele Wanderungen und Ausflüge geamacht und fanden es einen rundherum geglückten Urlaub.

Für meine Kinder wären noch mehr deutsche Tv programme wichtig gewesen aber sonst alles gut. Auf der terasse vielleicht ein paar Blumen udn schöne gemütliche Lichter. Also wenn sie länger da sind nah Monaco zu fahren da ist es wunderschön . Wir bedanken uns für den Urlaub
